I wanted to make a pear cake in ages. So I came up with this fantastic autumn cake, which is super easy to make. Go to your local supermarket, pick up all ingredients and you will only need 10 – 15 minutes to prepare this vegan dessert. It’s that simple and it tastes amazing! My pear cake is a great treat for when the days get longer and the leaves turn golden and you want the warming goodness of a cup of coffee or tea with a scrumptious piece of cake. You can use any pears you like for this cake and you don’t have to pre prepare them either (e.g. cook them first). Just peel them, cut them into eight and off they go into the dough. Then off into the oven (which will fill your whole house with a lovely scent) for only 35 minutes before it’s ready to be enjoyed. Though it’s best to let it cool down first – as tempting as it is to tuck in immediately.
